Instruments

In HOUGAKU group, they play KOTO, SANGEN (SHAMISEN), SYAKUHACHI mainly.
In GAGAKU group, they play HICHIRIKI, RYUTEKI, SHOU mainly.
Usually you don't have to buy your own instrument. You can use instrument of clab.
In GAGAKU group, if you want to play HICHIRIKI or RYUTEKI, you have to buy a instrument. But don't worry about it. These are not so expensive.

Practice

We practice with almost of members on every Sunday(10:00-14:00).
The room is in aninstitution for clabs in Ito campus.
Other days , each of us practice in assigned room.

assigned room : 2rd floor of institution for clabs in Itocampus.

*Sunday（10:00-14:00)
Japanese room (203/204) : 2rd floor of institution for clabs in Ito campus Extracurricular Activities Facility II.

personnel：60(2018-12) From 1st grade to graduate student, there are various students in HOUGAKUBU.
Short-term international students sometimes visit us to experience Japanese music.

Annual plan

We plan to give "regular concert" in every December.
This is the most important event for us.
